The units currently operate as a restaurant on the first floor with a separate ground floor café. It includes a restaurant, a bar, a private room and back-of-house facilities including toilets, kitchens, office, storage and service areas.

Currently there are operational constraints in terms of the overall presence of the restaurant

The proposals involve the removal of the existing conservatory enclosure and the construction of a new structure

The proposals involve the removal of the existing conservatory enclosure and the construction of a new structure.

Currently there are operational constraints in terms of the overall presence of the restaurant, a cramped kitchen space, access to the unit from different entrances, the efficiency of the back-of-house areas and the redundancy of outside areas in winter months. The project will incorporate the ground floor of the north-eastern pavilion as an entrance and include the refurbishment of the back-of-house areas in the east / west ranges.
