Ellmer site exceeds £13,600 in charity fundraiser

Our project team on the Young Street development have been continuing on their quest to raise £25k for Cancer Research UK - to date they have raised over £13,600 towards this great cause.

Fundraising activities to date:

Europa Cup sweep stake - half the winning money went to CRUK.

Taking part in donate a day to CRUK which gives us all a chance to work a full day at a CRUK charity shop. Each of the project team has spent a day in the local charity shop, undertaking activities such as:

• Restocking 

• Taking in deliveries, sorting and tagging ready to be put onto shop floor

• Sales interaction with the public

• Working on the till

• Setting up promotional stands

• Steaming donated clothes 

• Organising back of house stock

• Christmas window dressing

Collection boxes on site, in the office and at reception.

Posters and signage are placed on site as well as the huge CRUK board to show how passionate we are about raising money for CRUK.

We have many events and ideas in the pipeline such as a quiz night and softball challenge and we will keep you updated with our progress.
