The aspiration was to create a ‘modern classic’ that enhances the existing streetscape. The development delivered high standards of energy performance that incorporated a range of passive and active energy efficiency measures.

The measures included; efficient air source heat pumps to provide low carbon heating/cooling; mechanical ventilation with heat recovery; high standards of fabric insulation and high performance windows and airtight construction to reduce air leakage.
