SCOPE OF WORK

A heavy refurbishment project for this landmark destination shopping centre involving new ceilings and GRG (CDP), M&E services, escalators, three scenic lifts, structural alterations, balustrades to all mall voids and staircases, floor tiling, mall entrances (general refreshment - glazing / auto doors / canopy / rooflights), joinery (information desks / pilasters / doors and frames), decorative glass wall cladding and decorations.

The above mentioned works were completed 'out of hours', on budget and on time. The Ellmer Construction Manager who ran the project for the Try/Ellmer JV has since won a gold medal at the 2005 CIOB Construction Manager of the Year Awards, in the 'refurbishment and fit out over £10M' category, for his outstanding effort at delivering this project.
