SCOPE OF WORK

Ellmer Construction were commissioned to construct and fit out a new west wing extension to the existing, live and fully operational, 5-star Connaught Hotel.

The reinforced concrete-framed extension, over nine floors, increases the capacity of the hotel by 50%, affording an additional 33 suites.

Built over a three-level basement, excavated to a depth of approximately 12.5m below road level, the extension accommodates a swimming pool, health spa, fitness suite, banqueting suites, conference facilities plus new back of house service areas.’
