SCOPE OF WORK

Ellmer Construction, in joint venture with Galliford Try, delivered a redevelopment and refit programme at two of M&S’s flagship superstores in Hertfordshire: Cheshunt and London Colney. Each store remained fully live and operational throughout the duration of works, which comprised:

• Total remodelling including a 20,000sq ft extension to both stores.
• Redevelopment and remodelling of all sales and back-of-house support areas.
• Construction of new high specification delicatessens, caf?and food halls
• Works to the London Colney store also included the formation of a new mezzanine floor incorporating new customer facilities and a Caf?evive.
     

The fast-track projects completed ahead of the Christmas trading period.
