The IIF Programme, which has been implemented across the Byrne Group, is designed to:

• Elevate safety awareness by making it personal, relevant and important to all individuals, such that it influences their choices and actions.
• Move safety to a core value, rather than just one of a list of competing priorities.
• Create a vision and expectation for future safety performance, rather than focus on historical statistics.
• Develop increasing leadership capability to sustain IIF.

As part of their commitment to the IIF Programme, Ellmer Construction has created a management and workforce that are conversant in the principles of IIF, and has in place a roll out programme, which will ensure that all new starters and subcontractors are coached in safe working practices, as dictated by the IIF Programme.
