Frederick Bilton Ellmer was born in 1850 and started his own company in 1875. The company moved to White Hart Lane in Barnes, West London, where the company expanded its business into the residential market. However, it wasn't until the formation of its own joinery company and the change of ownership to the Byrne family in 1977, that the Ellmer Construction we know today really came into its own. In 1997, Ellmer purchased its current offices, required by the continued expansion of new and existing business, and moved in during the Autumn of 1998 after extensive renovation and refurbishment. The Millennium celebrated 125 years of trading for the company and with a continued commitment to employees, technology, new design and build materials, we look forward to the next 125 years. We will always endeavour to work on time and on budget but, just as importantly, we always aim to build the strongest possible relationships with all our clients. |
