Thanks to this, we have developed a safety culture from Director to Operative level, fuelled by efficient communication, recognition of commitment, training and promotion of representation. Our primary objectives are not just to simply avoid accidents but eliminate them through foresight of possible causes.
Alongside our graduate schemes, we have, for many years, run award winning Apprentice & Trainee Schemes. We believe it is essential to put something back into the Industry at grass roots level, which will benefit not only us but the whole Construction Industry in years to come. We fundamentally believe that the future of the Industry is in the hands of these graduates and apprentices.
In the past 12 months, our Safety Department have collected awards from RoSPA, the British Safety Council and a commendation from Bovis Lend Lease for our 'Incident and Injury Free' Safety Systems.
Ellmer's Safety Department has recently opened a dedicated Health and Safety Training Center in London, to host seminars, courses and lectures for operatives, managers and clients. We are not just looking at improving safety standards today but to change the safety culture for future generations to come.
